After two no-case days, Mumbai records three Covid-19 infections

Mumbai, which had reported no fresh Covid-19 cases on two occasions in the last four days, on Saturday logged three infections, taking the tally to 11,55,245, said a Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) bulletin.
The death toll remained unchanged at 19,747. Earlier this week, Mumbai logged zero Covid-19 cases on January 24 and 27.
The metropolis is now left with 14 active cases while the number of recoveries went up to 11,35,484. Mumbai`s case recovery rate stands at 98.3 per cent. The average doubling rate of cases is 4,54,916 days.

A total of 2,360 swab samples were tested since the Friday evening, taking the number of tests conducted so far in the city to 1,87,04,663, the BMC said. The COVID-19 cases grew by 0.0001 per cent from January 21 to 27.
